On Thursday, January 26, 2012, over 250 joined CCIM for in-depth analysis and discussion of prospects in 2012 at the CCIM Real Estate Forecast. Attendees included investors, owners, developers, financiers, and other principals and deal makers, who participated in the interactive event, held at the New York City Bar Association on 44th Street in Manhattan.

The CCIM Real Estate Forecast 2012 dove into analysis and prognostication of the regional and global real estate market over the next four quarters. Key questions included:

  • How will the European debt crisis affect U.S. real estate markets over the next 12 months?
  • Will interests rates go up, and if so by how much? What will be the effects upon availability of capital?
  • What can we expect in terms of leasing rates for office and retail?
  • What are the biggest foreseeable risks in 2012? Where are the likely opportunities?
